欧州はAIに力を入れております。ガードレールとしてAI法を作り、安全にAIを利用できる場を定義しました。そしてAI大陸戦略を策定し、AI開発、活用の大きな方針を示しました。そして、このAI大陸戦略を補完する戦略としてAI活用戦略の策定をしていますね...
また、このAI活用戦略は、データ連合戦略を補完するようですね...
欧州の社会で受け入れられるAIが欧州の発展にどのように寄与しえるかという取り組み、この後の展開も含めて非常に興味深いです...

| The Apply AI Strategy is designed to enhance the competitiveness of strategic sectors and strengthen the EU’s technological sovereignty. It aims to boost AI adoption and innovation across Europe, particularly among Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). | AI活用戦略は、戦略的分野の競争力を高め、EUの技術的主権を強化することを目的としている。欧州全域、特に中小企業（SME）におけるAIの採用と革新を促進することを目指す。 |
| The Strategy encourages an AI first policy where AI is considered as a potential solution whenever organisations make strategic or policy decisions, taking into careful consideration the benefits and the risks of the technology. The Apply AI also promotes a 'buy European' approach, particularly for the public sector, with a focus on open source AI solutions. | 本戦略は、組織が戦略的・政策決定を行う際に、技術の利点とリスクを慎重に考慮した上で、AIを潜在的な解決策として検討する「AIファースト政策」を推奨する。また特に公共部門において、オープンソースAIソリューションに焦点を当てた「欧州製購入」アプローチを推進する。 |
| The Strategy complements the AI Continent Action Plan, with concrete actions, aimed at harnessing AI's transformative potential. It contains 3 sections: | 本戦略は「AI大陸行動計画」を補完するものであり、AIの変革的潜在力を活用するための具体的行動を盛り込んでいる。本戦略は3つのセクションで構成される： |
| ・sectoral flagships including targeted measures to boost AI adoption across 10 key industry sectors and the public sector. | ・support measures and actions to increase EU’s technological sovereignty by tackling cross-cutting challenges to AI development and adoption. It reinforces the role of the European Digital Innovation Hubs which were transformed into Experience Centres for AI to become access points to the EU AI innovation ecosystem. This includes AI Factories and AI Gigafactories, AI Testing and Experimentation Facilities and AI regulatory sandboxes. | The Apply AI Strategy is designed to support industries and the public sector to better understand what AI can do, where it is effective and how it can bring competitive advantage. | 本戦略は、産業及び公共部門がAIの機能・有効領域・競争優位性創出方法を理解する支援を目的とする。 |

| The Apply AI Strategy is accompanied by the AI in Science strategy, which supports and incentivises the development and use of AI by the European scientific community. To deliver on this, the Commission will launch a pilot for the Resource for AI Science in Europe (RAISE). RAISE will pool strategic resources - funding, compute, data and talent – and will operate along two main pillars: | 「AI活用戦略」には「科学におけるAI戦略」が併せて策定されている。これは欧州科学コミュニティによるAIの開発・活用を支援・促進するものである。これを実現するため、欧州委員会は「欧州AI科学リソース（RAISE）」のパイロット事業を開始する。RAISEは戦略的資源（資金・計算能力・データ・人材）を統合し、以下の二本柱で運営される： |

Foreseen for late October, this initiative strives to ensure the availability of high-quality, large-scale datasets essential for training AI models. | 「AI適用戦略」は「データ連合戦略」によっても補完される。10月下旬に予定されるこのイニシアチブは、AIモデルの訓練に不可欠な高品質で大規模なデータセットの利用可能性を確保することを目指す。 |
