こんにちは、丸山満彦です。
情報コミュニティ監察総監室（IC IG）が、2022年10月1日から2023年3月31日までの半期報告書を国家情報長官（DNI）、議会に公表していますね。。。1947年国家安全保障法（改正）により、IC IGは、直前の6カ月間のIC IGの業務を要約した報告書を作成し、DNIに提出することが定められています。。。
このブログでは取り上げていませんでしたが、
過去からずっと行われてきています...
インテリジェンス組織の信頼性を担保するための、重要な活動の一つだろうと思います。特に米国の場合は、情報収集・分析のみならず、情報工作の一部もインテリジェンス組織が行うので、国民監視の仕組みは重要なのだろうと思います。
この点、日本ではあまり議論されていないように思いますが、重要な観点だと思います。
また、内部通報制度についても重要だろうと思います。。。
