米国の国土安全保障省が人工知能タスクフォースを設立するようです。

安全保障の観点からAIをどう見るのか？貿易における貨物の審査や強制労働によって生産された製品の特定、フェンタニル（合成麻薬の原料となる [wikipedia] ）の米国への流入検知など、国土安全保障のための重要施策にAIを活用することを目指すということのようです。。。司法省のFBI、DEAとの関係も含めて、この活動の行方は興味深いですね。。。

Establishment of a DHS Artificial Intelligence Task Force	DHS人工知能タスクフォースの設立について
DHS must address the many ways in which artificial intelligence (AI), including revolutionary advances in generative Al, will drastically alter the threat landscape and augment the arsenal of tools we possess to succeed in the face of the threats. We must also ensure that our use of Al is rigorously tested to avoid bias and disparate impact, and is clearly explainable to the people we serve. To advance specific mission applications of Al across the Department, l am directing the creation of an internal Artificial Intelligence Task Force (AITF or "Task Force"). • Integrate AI into our efforts to enhance the integrity of our supply chains and the broader trade environment. I ask that you both lead this Task Force as its Co-Chairs on behalf of the Department. The Task Force's Members shall be the heads of all Offices and Agencies. As Co-Chairs, you shall establish the Task Force's internal working procedures and may draw on staff detailed from Offices and Agencies across the Department to support its work. The Task Force's authority does not alter the current functions, rights, privileges, powers, authorities, and duties vested by law in Department officials, or any directive or delegation, related to artificial intelligence.	二人には、省庁を代表して、共同議長としてこのタスクフォースを率いるように依頼する。タスクフォースのメンバーは、すべての官庁の責任者とする。共同議長として、タスクフォースの内部作業手順を確立し、その作業を支援するために、省内の各事務所および機関から派遣されたスタッフを活用することができるものとする。タスクフォースの権限は、人工知能に関連し、法律により省役員に与えられた現在の機能、権利、特権、権力、権限、義務、または指示や委任を変更するものではない。
The Task Force shall be established for one year, after which it may be extended to continue its work.	タスクフォースは1年間設置されるものとし、その後、作業を継続するために延長することができる。
The Task Force shall report to me regularly on its work and AI efforts across the Department more broadly, including:	タスクフォースは、その作業と、より広く省内のAIの取り組みについて、定期的に私に報告するものとする：
• Within 45 days, a concept of operations for the Task Force, including milestones for advancing the four priority initiatives outlined above; and	・45日以内に、上記の4つの優先的イニシアチブを進めるためのマイルストーンを含む、タスクフォースの活動コンセプト。
• Every 60 days thereafter, a progress report on the four priority initiatives outlined above and any other pertinent AI initiatives identified by the Task Force.	・その後60日ごとに、上記の4つの優先取り組みと、タスクフォースが特定したその他の適切なAI取り組みに関する進捗報告書を提出する。
The Task Force shall also be responsible for reviewing and, where appropriate, implementing the Homeland Security Advisory Council's (HSAC) upcoming findings and recommendations on the intersection of Al and homeland security. Within 30 days of the release of the HSAC's report, the Task Force shall develop a plan to implement the HSAC's recommendations across the Department.
