日本もFive Eyes [wikipedia] に入れてもらおうという動きもあるのでしょうかね、2020年にはそういう話も新聞等で取り上げられましたね。。。

・2020.08.14 機密共有「ファイブ・アイズ」と連携意欲　河野防衛相

河野太郎防衛相は日本経済新聞のインタビューで、米英など5カ国の機密情報共有の枠組み「ファイブ・アイズ」との連携拡大に意欲を示した。「価値観を共有している国々だ。日本も近づいて『シックス・アイズ』と言われるようになってもいい」と述べた。

EUから離脱したUKが孤立化を避けるために日本に近づいているとか、米国の知日派の議員も賛成しているとか、色々と話はあるようですね。。。

さて、Atlantic CouncilにFive Eyesに関する記事がありました。言語が重要ということもありますね。。。
