　米連邦政府は米国時間2009年5月29日，情報インフラにおけるセキュリティ対策に関する，今後の取り組みを明らかにした。米国におけるサイバーセキュリティ対策の方針と活動を調整する役職を政府内に新設する。
　Barack Obama米大統領政権は，情報インフラへのサイバー攻撃を，米国や同盟国の経済や国家安全にとって最も深刻な驚異の1つととらえており，国の最優先課題の1つとして取り組む方針である。
