・2006.03.07 OMB RELEASES ANNUAL FISMA REPORT

* Certifying and accrediting agencies’ systems, which rose from 77 percent to 85 percent.
* Assigning a risk impact level to IT systems. Agencies for the first time reported the risk impact level, which measures systems’ risk level in degrees of low, moderate or high.
* Quality of certifications and accreditation. Seventeen federal agencies’ certifications and accreditation processes were rated “satisfactory,” an increase by two from FY 2004.
* Quality of agency corrective plans of action and milestone process. Nineteen agencies had “effective” POA&M processes, an increase from 18 in FY 2004
